Most people can benefit from BOTOX® if they have focal hyperhidrosis, where excessive sweating occurs in one area of the body.
In most cases, patients see results after five days, with full results appearing after two weeks.
Results of BOTOX® for hyperhidrosis can last anywhere from 4-6 months.
BOTOX® injections do not require you to take any time off from work or most normal activities. In order to prevent unnecessary irritation, you should avoid applying any product to your underarm area for 12 hours. Deodorant and antiperspirant are included in this category. Postpone your workout until the day after your injections. By doing this, you will avoid exaggerated swelling and redness.
