A MedSpa run by a physician, one town over
The word MedSpa covers a lot of ground. Ours is a medical practice first: Montville MedSpa & Pain Center was founded by Dr. Donna D’Alessio, MD, board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, who oversees a medical staff skilled in body contouring, microneedling, chemical peels and laser treatments. For Lincoln Park we are the next township over, about six minutes without traffic west along Route 202 to 624 Main Road in Towaco.
What is on the menu
- Facials: a classic facial, the HydraFacial, an acne facial with blue light, a teen facial, a back facial, the pumpkin peel and an anti-aging collagen facial
- Skin renewal: microneedling, Vivace RF microneedling, chemical peels and the PRP “vampire” facial
- Lasers and light: Sciton’s MOXI and BroadBand Light (BBL) for sun damage and uneven tone, and laser hair removal
- Body: CoolSculpting for stubborn pockets of fat and Venus Legacy for skin tightening and cellulite
- Injectables and wellness: Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, hormone therapy for men and women, weight-loss injections and IV drips
The people behind the treatments
Skin, laser and body treatments are performed by licensed medical estheticians. Kristen Marucci has more than 20 years as a skincare specialist and starts every plan with a careful look at your skin type. Shannon Glinsky has worked in plastic surgery offices as well as MedSpas, and her treatments are precise and clinical. Injectables are given by Dr. D’Alessio and nurse practitioners Amy Natalicchio and Tanya Santoro, so a skin plan and an injectable plan can be made together, in the right order.
Lincoln Park patients ask
I have never been to a MedSpa. Where should I start? Our regular facial is designed as an introduction to spa skin care: it cleanses, extracts and moisturizes, for all skin types. Or book a consultation and simply tell us what bothers you.
Is there downtime? It depends on the treatment. A HydraFacial has none, while after MOXI most people are back to their daily activities within three to five days.
When are you open? Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9 to 5, Tuesday 10 to 7, Friday 9 to 4 and Saturday 9 to 1.
