The most compact of the three Caldwells
Caldwell is the smallest of the three Essex County municipalities that carry the name: barely 1.2 square miles, with 9,027 residents at the 2020 census. It became a borough on February 10, 1892, cut from what was then Caldwell Township, and when a plan to merge all three Caldwells into one town went to the voters in 1929, it was turned down. This page is for the borough itself; North Caldwell and West Caldwell each have their own.
From Bloomfield Avenue to Main Road
The drive starts on Bloomfield Avenue, the borough’s main road and the address of the Grover Cleveland Birthplace at number 207, the only house museum devoted to the president, who was born there in 1837. Head west on it for about three miles to Route 46, leave almost immediately for Hook Mountain Road, and after a short stretch of Horseneck Road turn onto Pine Brook Road. That carries you north into Towaco, where Whitehall Road brings you out on Main Road, Route 202, beside Montville MedSpa & Pain Center at number 624. OpenStreetMap’s routing makes it about eight and a half miles, close to 18 minutes without traffic, and there is ample parking when you arrive.

A practice built around one physician
Dr. Donna D’Alessio, MD started the practice to help her community look and feel their best. She is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, earned her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine, and leads both the injectors and the pain care. Nurse practitioner Amy Natalicchio has been practicing medicine for 25 years, and nurse practitioner Tanya Santoro adds a particular focus on testosterone therapy to her injectable work. Licensed medical esthetician Kristen Marucci trained at the Artistic Academy in Morris Plains, Shannon Glinsky came to the practice with plastic surgery experience, and Maryann Constantino, LMT is the massage therapist. A frown line, a hormone question and a stiff shoulder can all be raised in the same building.

I had an incredible experience with Nurse Practitioner - Tanya at Montville MedSpa! From the moment I walked in, the office staff and Tanya made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to explain everything, answered ALL my questions (I had a LOT), and made sure I felt comfortable before proceeding with my first treatment. Her technique is gentle and precise — I barely felt a thing! The results are exactly what I was hoping for: natural, refreshed, and subtle.
