MedSpa & Pain Care for Rockaway Township, NJ

Aesthetics, hormones, weight and joint pain under one physician — east along I-80 from Rockaway Township, about 20 minutes without traffic.

Donna D'Alessio, MD

Two townships with a shared parent

Rockaway Township was created by the New Jersey Legislature on April 8, 1844, from parts of Hanover Township and the old Pequannock Township. Montville Township came out of Pequannock too, in 1867, and in its Towaco section, at 624 Main Road, is Montville MedSpa & Pain Center. The two have grown in very different directions since: the township stretches across close to 46 square miles, the largest area of any Morris County municipality, and Picatinny Arsenal takes up nearly 6,500 acres of it.

This page is for the township. The borough of Rockaway was carved out of it in 1894 and has a page of its own.

Three starting points, one interstate

From each of these three parts of the township, most of the drive is on Interstate 80 and Interstate 287. OpenStreetMap’s routing gives these times without traffic:

  • From near Hibernia, Green Pond Road (County Route 513) runs south to I-80. Head east, change to I-287 north, leave at Exit 47 and turn left onto Main Road: about 15 miles, roughly 20 minutes.
  • From White Meadow Lake, White Meadow Road and Hibernia Avenue reach I-80 within a couple of miles, and the rest of the route is the same: around 14 and a half miles, close to 22 minutes.
  • From Lake Telemark, the stretch on Green Pond Road is longer, a little over four miles, making the trip about 17 miles and some 24 minutes.

What is under the one roof

Who looks after you

The practice is the work of Dr. Donna D’Alessio, MD, who founded it and is still the physician you see. She is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, trained in that specialty at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she finished as Chief Resident, and leads both the pain care and the injector team. Injectables are also given by nurse practitioners Amy Natalicchio, who came from cosmetic dermatology, and Tanya Santoro, whose particular focus is testosterone therapy. Licensed medical estheticians Kristen Marucci and Shannon Glinsky handle skin, laser and body treatments, Maryann Constantino, LMT is the massage therapist, and vein patients work with Ana Marie Heredia-Levi, RVS, RVT, the vascular technician. A knee, a hot flash and a frown line can be raised with the same practice in the same week.

Rockaway Township patients ask

Which days can I come in? Monday through Saturday. Weekday doors open at 9, except Tuesday, which starts at 10 and runs into the evening until 7; Fridays wrap up at 4 and the other weekdays at 5, while Saturday is a morning, 9 to 1.

Is the hormone program for men as well as women? Yes. Testosterone therapy for men with lab-confirmed low levels sits beside estrogen and progesterone therapy for women, each planned from that person’s own blood work.

Can treatment be paid for monthly? Yes, through Cherry, and current promotions are on the special offers page.

Neighboring towns have pages too, including Denville, Kinnelon and Randolph; the rest are on every town we serve.
