Where the profile tends to change

• Jawline. The same gel can restore a crisp edge running from the chin back toward the ear, the line a side-on photograph picks up first.
• Cheekbones. The midface is among the earliest places to lose volume. Juvéderm Voluma XC rebuilds projection at the cheekbone, and because the cheek holds up what lies below it, the fold beside the nose and mouth may look softer as well.
• Lips. From the side, what matters is how far they project and how the two lips sit together. Volbella XC is the practice’s most delicate lip gel; Ultra XC is chosen when you want visibly more fullness.

Proportion over size

The whole reason for looking at the profile is balance between features. A stronger chin can make the lips look better matched without any lip filler; restored cheeks can change how the jaw reads. So the plan covers the face as a whole. On the day, injection points are marked by facial mapping, the gel is shaped by hand once it is in, and you are asked to smile and talk while symmetry is checked from more than one angle. How long structure lasts

Filler lasts longest where the face moves least.
