The borough, not its northern neighbor
This page is for Haledon, the Passaic County borough that its residents pronounce “HAIL-don,” rather than North Haledon, which is a separate municipality. Haledon covers only about 1.2 square miles, was incorporated in 1908 from the Oldham district of the old Manchester Township, and had 9,052 residents at the 2020 census. Its other neighbors are Paterson, Prospect Park, Totowa and Wayne.
Out along Belmont Avenue
The first road of the drive has a long history: in 1871 the Paterson and Haledon Horse Rail Road Company laid trolley tracks along what is now Belmont Avenue, and the line was running on electricity by 1888. Follow Belmont Avenue to West Broadway and on to Union Avenue, which turns into Union Boulevard in Totowa and meets Route 46. From there Route 23 north, Mountainview Boulevard and Route 202 take you across Lincoln Park into Towaco, where 202 is known as Main Road. Montville MedSpa & Pain Center is at number 624, about eleven and a half miles away and roughly 20 minutes without traffic.
Four sides of one practice
The MedSpa side. Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers and SKINVIVE are given by the founding physician and two nurse practitioners. Licensed medical estheticians Kristen Marucci and Shannon Glinsky take care of the HydraFacial and other facials, Sciton’s MOXI and BroadBand Light, microneedling, laser hair removal, CoolSculpting and Venus Legacy.
The wellness side. Hormone replacement therapy for men and women always begins with lab work: testosterone for men whose levels are confirmed low, estrogen and progesterone for women through perimenopause and menopause. Semaglutide and tirzepatide weight-loss injections come with regular check-ins, and there are IV drips and massage therapy with Maryann Constantino, LMT.
The pain side. Non-surgical care for back, neck, shoulder and knee pain, including trigger point injections and PRP joint injections.
The vein side. Vein patients start with a consultation and a diagnostic evaluation, working with Ana Marie Heredia-Levi, RVS, RVT, the practice’s vascular technician. Treatments include sclerotherapy, Varithena® and radiofrequency ablation.
One physician at the center
All four sides answer to Dr. Donna D’Alessio, MD, who founded the practice to help her community look and feel its best. She is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and served as Chief Resident during her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Nurse practitioners Amy Natalicchio and Tanya Santoro inject alongside her, and Tanya brings a particular focus on testosterone therapy to the hormone program.
