A township named for a waterfall

Little Falls takes its name from a waterfall on the Passaic River, at a dam near Beattie Mill. The township runs from Singac, along the river on its western side, to Great Notch at its eastern end, and most of Montclair State University sits inside its borders. About eight miles to the north-west, in the Towaco section of Montville Township, Montville MedSpa & Pain Center brings together under one physician what is often spread across three separate offices: care for how you look, how you feel and how you move.

Getting to 624 Main Road

From Main Street, head for Route 23 northbound and leave it at Mountainview Boulevard in Wayne, which takes you across to Route 202. Stay with 202 as the Boonton Turnpike carries it through Lincoln Park; by the time it reaches Towaco it is called Main Road, and our office is at number 624. Allow roughly 14 minutes without traffic, and there is parking on site.

The physician behind it

Dr. Donna D’Alessio, MD founded the practice to help her community look and feel its best. After undergraduate work at The College of New Jersey, she earned her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, completed an internship in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate, and trained in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, serving as Chief Resident in her last year there. She is board certified in that specialty, leads the injector team and the non-surgical pain care in person, and sets the standard for everyone else in the building.

Little Falls patients ask

Could I come by train? Little Falls station and Towaco station are both on NJ Transit’s Montclair–Boonton Line, though Little Falls is served only at rush hour, so check the timetable before you rely on it.

When is the office open? Six days a week. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday run 9 to 5, Tuesday 10 to 7, Friday 9 to 4 and Saturday 9 to 1; Sunday we are closed.

Can I start with a conversation and nothing else? Yes. Book a consultation, say what is bothering you, and nothing is scheduled or injected until you have made up your mind.

Is hormone therapy only for women? No. Men with lab-confirmed low testosterone and women in perimenopause, menopause and the years after are both treated, each from their own blood work.
