Why so many MedSpa plans start here
If you have never had a MedSpa treatment, the HydraFacial is an easy first step. It has no downtime, it suits every skin type, sensitive skin included, and the glow it leaves is visible as soon as you sit up. It also gives one of our licensed medical estheticians a close look at your skin, which is the best starting point for anything that comes next at Montville MedSpa & Pain Center.
What happens in a HydraFacial
The treatment runs on the HydraFacial MD machine, in a set order that is tailored at each stage to what your skin needs that day:
- Cleansing. Dirt, oil and the day’s pollutants are lifted from the skin and the pores.
- Exfoliation. A gentle mix of mechanical and chemical exfoliation clears dull, dead cells from the surface.
- Extraction. Vacuum tips draw out the debris and oil sitting in congested pores, which can help pores look smaller over time.
- Infusion. Serums chosen for your skin are worked in to hydrate, soothe and brighten.
Because it is non-abrasive, there is no irritation or sensitivity to wait out afterwards, and regular sessions keep the benefit going.
Where to go after a HydraFacial
A HydraFacial cleans and hydrates the surface. Some concerns sit deeper, and the rest of the MedSpa menu is built for them:
- Sun spots, redness and uneven tone — Sciton’s BroadBand Light (BBL) or an IPL photofacial with Limelight by Cutera
- Texture, fine lines and acne scarring — microneedling, Vivace RF microneedling or the PRP “vampire” facial
- Deeper sun damage — Sciton’s MOXI fractional laser
- Unwanted hair — laser hair removal
- Lost volume or expression lines — dermal fillers or Botox and Dysport, with the practice’s injectors
The estheticians
Kristen Marucci has spent more than 20 years as a skincare specialist and studies your skin type before suggesting anything. Shannon Glinsky brings experience from plastic surgery offices as well as MedSpas, and builds home routines from ZO Skin Health, SkinCeuticals and SkinMedica so results hold between visits. The practice’s laser and PRP treatments are overseen by its founder, Dr. Donna D’Alessio, MD.
From Pompton Lakes
Follow the Paterson-Hamburg Turnpike to the Newark-Pompton Turnpike, take the Boulevard south through Pompton Plains and turn onto Jacksonville Road, which ends at Main Road in Towaco. It is roughly nine miles to number 624, close to 15 minutes without traffic.
Pompton Lakes clients ask
Can a HydraFacial be paired with injectables? Yes. Filler and neurotoxin work beneath the surface, and a HydraFacial gives the skin on top a cleaner, more even look, so the two can be planned together.
Is it suitable for oily or breakout-prone skin? Yes. The deep pore cleansing makes it a common choice for congested skin, and the acne facial with blue light is there for active breakouts.
When are you open? Monday to Saturday: 9 to 5 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10 to 7 on Tuesdays, 9 to 4 on Fridays and 9 to 1 on Saturdays.

What Our Patients Say About Us
★★★★★
Shannon from the MedSpa is absolutely amazing! She took the time to really understand my skin and helped me figure out exactly what it needs. She recommended products that feel incredible on my skin and made the whole experience feel personalized. The room was so relaxing, and everything about the appointment was perfect. I’m someone who usually pushes off getting facials, but after finally getting one done, it was 100% worth it. Overall a 10/10 experience!
