Over the county line from the borough
Pompton Lakes has governed itself since February 26, 1895, when residents voted to leave the old Pompton Township, and the borough takes its name from the Pompton people, a Native American group who once lived in the area. It sits at the southern edge of Passaic County. Two of its neighbors, Riverdale and Pequannock, are already in Morris County, and a few miles past them is Towaco, part of Montville Township, where Montville MedSpa & Pain Center has its office at 624 Main Road.
Turnpikes, the Boulevard, then Jacksonville Road
From the middle of the borough, Wanaque Avenue leads to the Paterson-Hamburg Turnpike, and a left turn puts you on the Newark-Pompton Turnpike, which shares a short stretch with Route 23. Leave at the exit for Pompton Plains and follow the Boulevard south through it, then turn right onto Jacksonville Road and stay on it until it ends at Main Road. Turn right; our door is less than half a mile along. OpenStreetMap’s routing makes the whole trip about nine miles, close to 15 minutes without traffic.
Who you would see, and for what
- An injector — Dr. Donna D’Alessio or nurse practitioners Amy Natalicchio and Tanya Santoro — for Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, SKINVIVE and Sculptra
- A licensed medical esthetician — Kristen Marucci or Shannon Glinsky — for the HydraFacial and other facials, microneedling, laser treatments, laser hair removal and CoolSculpting
- Our massage therapist, Maryann Constantino, LMT, for Swedish, deep tissue and lymphatic drainage massage
- The wellness side of the practice for hormone replacement therapy for men and women, weight-loss injections and IV drips
- Dr. D’Alessio herself for non-surgical care of back, neck and knee pain, PRP joint injections and vein treatment
A physician at the center of it
Dr. D’Alessio founded the practice and is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She trained in that specialty at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year, and today she leads both the injector team and the pain care. That is the practical difference for a patient: a question about your skin, your hormones or a sore shoulder stays inside one practice, and everyone answering it works under the same physician.
Pompton Lakes patients ask
I want help with several things. Do I book them separately? Start with a consultation and say everything that is on your mind. The team will suggest an order, which is often more useful than a long list booked all at once.
Is hormone therapy only for women? No. Men are treated for lab-confirmed low testosterone, and women through perimenopause, menopause and the years after, each from their own blood work.
What are your hours? Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 to 5, Tuesday from 10 until 7, Friday from 9 to 4 and Saturday from 9 to 1. We are closed on Sundays.
Is there a page for the towns next door? Yes: Riverdale, Pequannock Township and Wayne, or every town we serve. Current promotions are on our special offers page.

What Our Patients Say About Us
★★★★★
Kristen is truly exceptional — she goes above and beyond in every way. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever find anyone who matches her level of excellence. I’ve had several Vivace microneedling treatments with her, and she was incredibly thorough and meticulous every time. Her follow-up care is just as impressive. I’m a very cautious person when it comes to these treatments and I ask a lot of questions, and she always responds with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. It’s clear she takes pride in her work. I highly, highly recommend her!
