MedSpa & Pain Care for Bloomingdale, NJ

One physician-led practice for how you look, how you feel and how you move — close to 14 minutes from Bloomingdale by I-287, without traffic.

Donna D'Alessio, MD

A Passaic County borough with Morris County neighbors

Bloomingdale sits on the western edge of Passaic County, and two of the towns it touches, Butler and Riverdale, already belong to Morris County. So does Montville Township, a short run down the interstate, where Montville MedSpa & Pain Center has its office at 624 Main Road in the Towaco section. The borough’s history runs deep: Federal Hill was the scene of the Pompton Mutiny, a winter revolt by Continental Army troops in 1781, and Bloomingdale has governed itself since February 23, 1918.

From Main Street to Main Road

Interstate 287 cuts straight across the borough, yet you cannot get on it there. Instead, follow Main Street as it turns into the Paterson-Hamburg Turnpike, and in about a mile you reach the southbound ramp, signed for Morristown. Stay on the interstate for roughly six and a half miles to Exit 47, for Route 202, Montville and Lincoln Park, then turn right onto Main Road; our door is a little over a mile and a half along. OpenStreetMap’s routing puts the whole trip at about nine and a half miles, close to 14 minutes without traffic.

What you can book here

Why it all sits under one physician

Dr. Donna D’Alessio, MD founded the practice and remains its physician. Her board certification is in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation; she completed an internship in internal medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn before her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she was Chief Resident in her final year. She leads the injector team here and at the sister practice, Bellava MedAesthetics in Bedford Hills, NY, as well as the pain care. Injections are also given by nurse practitioners Amy Natalicchio and Tanya Santoro; skin, laser and body treatments are in the hands of licensed medical estheticians Kristen Marucci and Shannon Glinsky; and Maryann Constantino, LMT is the massage therapist. One practice holding the whole picture means a question that starts with your skin and ends with your sleep, or a sore knee, never has to begin again somewhere else.

Bloomingdale patients ask

What should I say when I book my first visit? Everything that is on your mind, even if it seems unrelated. A consultation is the place to sort it into an order, and nothing is done until you have decided.

Is the hormone program only for women? No. Men with lab-confirmed low testosterone are treated alongside women going through perimenopause, menopause and the years after.

When are you open? Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 to 5, Tuesday from 10 to 7, Friday from 9 to 4 and Saturday from 9 to 1. Sundays are closed.

Can treatment be paid for over time? Yes, through Cherry, and anything currently on offer is on our special offers page.

Nearby towns have pages of their own, among them Butler, Riverdale, Pompton Lakes and Kinnelon, and the rest are on every town we serve.
