MedSpa & Pain Care for Woodland Park, NJ

Face, skin, hormones, weight, muscles and joints looked after under one physician — about 18 minutes from Woodland Park by Routes 46, 23 and 202, without traffic.

Donna D'Alessio, MD

The borough that used to be West Paterson

Woodland Park began in 1914 as West Paterson, a borough formed from part of Little Falls, and it kept that name for nearly a century. Residents had rejected three earlier proposals, “Garret Mountain” among them in 2001, before voting for the new name in November 2008, and a 2009 referendum to switch back failed by just 32 votes. Most of Garret Mountain Reservation, the Passaic County park whose ridge looks out toward the New York City skyline, lies inside the borough, which shares its borders with Clifton, Little Falls, Paterson and Totowa.

Out Route 46, then north

From the middle of the borough, Browertown Road drops down to Route 46. Follow 46 west for about two miles, bear onto Route 23 north for a little over a mile, and leave it at Mountainview Boulevard, which hands you on to the Boonton Turnpike, Route 202. That road runs on through Lincoln Park and becomes Main Road in Towaco, where Montville MedSpa & Pain Center sits at number 624. OpenStreetMap’s routing makes it about nine and a half miles, roughly 18 minutes without traffic, and you park on site.

Head to toe, in one building

The team behind it

Dr. Donna D’Alessio, MD founded the practice and is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the specialty of muscles, nerves and movement. She trained in it at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, serving as Chief Resident in her final year, and today she leads both the injectors and the pain care. Nurse practitioners Amy Natalicchio and Tanya Santoro inject alongside her, and Tanya also specializes in testosterone therapy. Licensed medical estheticians Kristen Marucci and Shannon Glinsky handle skin, laser and body treatments, while Maryann Constantino, LMT is the massage therapist. When your skin, your energy and a sore knee are all on the list, they can be raised with one practice instead of three.

Woodland Park patients ask

Which days are you open? Six days a week. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays run from 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays from 10 am until 7 pm, Fridays from 9 am to 4 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am until 1 pm.

Do you treat men as well? Yes. The facials menu even has one built for men’s skin, and the hormone program treats both sexes: testosterone for men whose labs confirm a low level, estrogen and progesterone for women.

Can I spread the cost? Cherry lets you pay for health, beauty and wellness treatments month by month, and anything on promotion is listed on the special offers page.

Which neighboring towns have pages? Little Falls and Totowa both border Woodland Park, and the drive passes through Wayne; the rest are on every town we serve.
